“The Past as Future is Present - Conversations Through Time” In collaboration with Vramyan Interiors, Shane Guffogg and VC Projects, Art Exhibition with two rooms, September 9 - October 13th, 2022

Solo exhibition of paintings by Shane Guffogg, selected arias sung by Shooka Afshar, accompanied by pianist Anthony Cardella. Movement interpretation by Stevie Kincheloe. Artist talk with Shane Guffogg and Shooka Afshar discussing the relationship with color and sound. Recorded podcasts with each artist.

Slow Art Day, Denys Kushnarov, and Yuri Boyko: “War and Peace (Ukrainian Voices), April 2 - 14, 2022

A two-person exhibition featuring, film, photography, and a message from Ukraine. Filmmaker and Ukrainian TV host, Denys Kushnarov resides in war stricken Kyiv, while Yuri Boyko, Ukrainian-American artist lives in Los Angeles. While neither of these two Ukrainian-born artists have ever met, they share a commonality of peace, in the face of war. This exhibition is on display at El Nido art space.

Natasha Rudenko: “Be/Longing” - solo exhibition, February 19 - March 24, 2022 Solo exhibition by Los Angeles based Natasha Rudenko displaying medium scale conceptual photography. On view at El Nido art space. East Hollywood.

Opening reception included three excerpts from the Women / Immigration / Fight or Flight opera performed by soprano composer Shooka Afshar.

During the July 2022, VC Projects spent three days and nights submersed inside Villa Cernagilaro’s History of a Possible Utopia, spending time with curator and founder Carlotta Cernagilaro’s childhood home now museum.
